Detective Conan Edogawa/Jimmy Kudo believes that in all situations, "One Truth Prevails". Following this ideology, use your team of detectives to find the clues and solve the crime while overcoming the challenges presented by criminals and obstacles. Case Closed used a multiple deck structure where players construct a case deck, detective deck and a problem deck. The detective deck contains most of the cards used in the game; the problem deck contains the criminals and clues which a player chooses to assign to a case at the start of a round. Finally the case deck contains cases and the first player to solve three cases wins. The game also includes multiplayer rules for free-for-all and team play.
