In the future where 4 megacorporations have sway over most of the system, they each work to advance their own agendas. They must deal with the Netrunners, who either for ideals, money, or glory seek to ruin the Corps plans. In this reimplementation of the original Netrunner by Fantasy Flight Games, players compete in two rounds to see who comes out on top. Netrunner is a asymmetrical game where the Corps and Runners play in very different styles. For each round one player assumes the role of the Corps and the other the Runners, then they switch for the following round. The game enjoyed a rather successful run under Fantasy Flight Games until they lost the license on October 22, 2018. The game has been continued by a print on demand model under the name Nisei.
